SOMOS ARTE, SOMOS PARTE- Urgull Zentroa - Getxo - Spain, May 2023
"WE ARE ART, WE ARE PART"
Sorkari and Foundation Argia have invited me to create a mural with the diverse communities in Getxo, Bilbao- Spain.
People from all different kinds of organizations, schools, disabilities, and immigrants all joined me to create a beautiful mural and a unique leaf that was then added to the whole mural as a connected spiral. The design of the mural itself was a combination of many drawings that the people created in advance and I recompiled them as a whole
I've been invited to work with the students at Manuel Belgrano High School in San Antonio de Areco, Argentina. To create a mural in collaboration with the students. Inspired by their designs, I combined a lot of the drawings to create the final mural. Each circle represents a student in the school. Check out the video:
Eastern Middle School, Silver Spring, Maryland 2019
"UNITY makes commUNITY" Mural done by 973 students and staff. the mural was inspired by Mandalas which represent diversity, respect and community. Plus each students created a unique design on a square or triangle that symbolize their identity.
Literacy and Art Project in Manado, Indonesia 2018
Creative Adventures was invited by the Regional English Language Office/US Embassy in Indonesia to work for a week with almost 1,000 students from State Senior High School 9 Binus in Manado.
The students learned to write Haiku's, illustrated their poems, and books were made to be used by kindergarten and elementary school children. Together we also painted a mural in the high school inspired by different drawings the students created.

Beverly Farms Elementary School – Potomac, Maryland - 2017
Worked with the 560 students as an Artist in Residence at the school, creating an organic mural, where each student created her/his own leaf, representing their own design or symbol.

Many hands and hearts contributed to this beautiful piece.The participatory project was intended to provide healing and inspiration. The abstract design represents the artists’ love of color and movement and speaks to the creative passion and potential within all of us.
